SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. - The Wheaton College women's volleyball team opened play at the Hall of Fame Invitational with a 3-0 to Williams College at Mount Holyoke College Friday evening.

The Lyons (3-23) dropped game one 25-10, game two 25-12, and game three 25-17.

Sophomore Kara-Jane Walker (Needham, Mass./Needham) led the offense with three kills while junior co-captain Christina Cannon (Milford, N.H./Milford), sophomores Marguerite Copeland (Woodbridge, Va./Oldfields School) and Lindsay Tebbetts (Gilmanton, N.H./Gilford), and freshman Leigh Hunt (Milford, Conn./Jonathan Law) each recorded two kills.

Senior co-captain Emily Davisson (Carpinteria, Calif./Laguna Blanca School) notched five digs and sophomore Olanna Nissim (Greenwich, Conn./Greenwich) dished out 10 assists.

Wheaton returns to action on Saturday when it plays Colby (10 a.m.) and Gordon (2 p.m.).
