Wheaton College (MA)

Samantha Troetti joined the Wheaton College Athletic Training staff on March 1, 2023.

The Connecticut native served as an Athletic Trainer for a year and a half at fellow New England Women's & Men's Athletic Conference school Smith College prior to her arrival in Norton. Troetti worked with the Pioneers' volleyball and lacrosse teams, while in Northampton, Mass. In addition, she gained experience working for a number of different schools and signature events, including the 2022 NEWMAC Cross Country Championship. Troetti also served as a Teacher's Assistant during her time at Smith.

Before entering the field of Athletic Training, Troetti was a four-year member of the Ithaca College softball team and was a part of the Bombers NCAA Regional Championship run. She was a member of the Student Athletic Advisory Committee at Ithaca and served as a Bomber Leads Co-Chair Executive Board Member. When not seeing time on the softball diamond in Ithaca, Troetti was gaining valuable experience with a number of different teams as a student-trainer for both the Bombers and for Division I Ivy League member Cornell University.

She received a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Ithaca in 2021 and is on track to receive a Master of Science degree in Exercise and Sport Studies from Smith in the spring of 2023.
