Randi Carine '97

Randi Carine begins her 15th year as Wheaton's equipment andfacility manager for the athletic department in 2014-15. Serving asthe school's top assistant softball coach from 1999-2003, shehelped guide the Lyons to four NCAA Tournament appearances and fourNew England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC)Tournament titles. The 2001 team advanced to the College WorldSeries and finished third in the country. In 2008, Carine was thehead softball coach at Foxboro High School.

Before coming to Wheaton, Carine spent the 1998 softball season atBridgewater State College as a graduate assistant, coaching theBears to an appearance in the College World Series. Earning hermaster's degree in counseling at Bridgewater State in 2000, Carinealso worked a variety of annual clinics and summer camps whilecoaching.

A 1997 graduate of Wheaton with a bachelor's degree in psychology,Carine was one of the school's top players to have gone through thesoftball program. Named to the National Fastpitch CoachesAssociation (NFCA) All-America first team her senior year, Carineled the Lyons to third place at the College World Series with a45-7 record.
