Made her collegiate debut placing 10th in the shot put and 19th in the weight throw at the Reggie Poyau Invitational at Brandeis University on January 18 ... Posted a career-best fifth-place finish in the shot put with a distance of 10.16 meters at the Lyon Invitational on January 25 ... Recorded a personal-best mark of 8.44 meters in the weight throw at the Wheaton Invitational on February 1 ... Placed seventh in the shot put at the Showdown at the Heights, hosted by Boston College, at the Track at New Balance in Boston, Mass. ... Posted a personal-best distance of 10.46 meters in the shot put at the Wheaton Post-Season Qualifier on February 22 ... Recorded a sixth-place finish in the discus and a seventh-place finish in the shot put at the Gerry Gravel Classic at Westfield State University on April 12 ... Daughter of Amy Merrill and Tyler Gleason, Michael Merrill and Nuna Gleason ... Has five siblings, Ava, Penelope, Abram, Hazel and Zawadi ... Chose to compete for Wheaton track & field because she felt like she was home after doing an overnight with the track team and all of the members on the team made her feel so comfortable in addition to the coaches being extremely helpful in the recruiting process and making her feel seen as an athlete.
