2023 SEASON: Also a member of the Women's Swimming and Diving Team ... Named to the New England Women's & Men's Athletic Conference Women's Track & Field Academic All-Conference Team … Appeared in five meets on the season … Made her collegiate debut in the shot put with a distance of 8.81 meters at the Black & Gold Invitational at Bryant University in Smithfield, R.I. … Posted a career-best distance of 9.83 meters, along with a personal-best finish of ninth, in the shot put at the Jerry Gravel Classic at Westfield State University on April 15 … Recorded a personal-best distance of 20.90 meters in the discus at the New England Women's & Men's Athletic Conference Championship … Also placed 17th in the shot put at the New England Women's & Men's Athletic Conference Championship.

BEFORE WHEATON: Graduated from Wethersfield High School in 2021 ... Three-year letterwinner in track & field in addition to earning four letters in swimming for the Eagles ... Part of Wethersfield High School track and field's Conference crowns as a first year, sophomore and senior ... Helped WHS swimming capture Connecticut Central Conference Championships in 2017, 2018 and 2020, including an undefeated season in her first year ...
