BEFORE WHEATON: Attended Malden High School... two-sport athlete competing in swimming (4 years) and soccer (3 years)... lettered in both swimming and soccer... captain of the swim team for two years... Greater Boston League (GBL) individual champion in swimming four years... was a section qualifier and state qualifier for three years... during her senior year, the Lions won the GBL swimming and diving team championship... member of the National Honor Society... achieved honor roll status... earned the Presidential award.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Susan Nylen and Roberto Quesada Diaz... has three siblings, Nicolas, Lucia, and Manuel... earned the Award for Excellence in Advanced Hispanic Studies in 2013-14... Residential Advisor on campus... social media advisor for BACCHUS at Wheaton... member of the Latino Student Association... chose Wheaton for the ability to balance and strive in academics and in the swimming pool...
