BEFORE WHEATON: Attended Sacred Heart Academy... six-year member of the swim team... two-year member of the track & field team... captain of the swim team her junior year... qualified for state's from 2008-13... named Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the Amherst High School swim team... scholar-athlete... named All-Catholic Championships and Sacred Heart Academy MVP ('10-'12)... member of the Tonawanda swim club and won the Titans award ('09-'11)... 2009 50-free Section VI Champion... NYSPHSA State Championships runner up in the 50-free ('09)... won the 2012 Academic Scholar award in English... traveled to Kenya as a member of the Service Trips for Student Athletes (STRIVE)... won the National Leadership award and St. Francis award for Community Service 2013.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Susan and Leonard Epstein... has one sibling, Haley... her mother, Susan, competed on the cross country and track & field teams at the University of Alabama ('80), was a member of the New Balance Track Club and the USA track & field team (5k, 10k, marathon '80-'89)... aspires to have a career in architectural design or community development... chose to attend Wheaton for its liberal arts education, opportunities to study abroad, and the swimming and diving team... majoring in Business and Studio Art.
