Nina Sitarski

Brent Sitarski

Brent Sitarski is in his second season as an Assistant Coach for the Men’s and Women’s Cross Country teams at Wheaton College during the 2023-24 academic year.

Sitarski also serves as the Assistant Coach for the Men’s and Women’s Track and Field teams at Wentworth Institution of Technology, where he leads the Throws program. In his first season with the program, Sitarski coached one All – American, one athlete to United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-East Region honors, two athletes to Commonwealth Coast All-Conference honors, and coached the 2023 Commonwealth Coast Conference Field Athlete of the Year.

Prior to collegiate coaching, Sitarski served as an Assistant Track and Field Coach at King Philip Regional High School and later left to claim the role as Assistant Track and Field Coach at Burlington High School. In Burlington, Sitarski played a crucial role in the development of its distance program. Under his direction, the program qualified their first two distance athletes into the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association Divisional Championship after many years of missing the mark. Additionally, Sitarski was a part of the program’s first indoor Middlesex League Championship and MIAA Division 3 Championship titles, while helping BHS to a runner-up finish at the MIAA Division 4 Championship.

As a student-athlete, Sitarski was a four-year member of the Babson College Cross Country and Track & Field programs and was named Captain during his junior and senior years. Sitarski competed in both distance and throwing events and currently holds Babson’s school record in the hammer throw. He also received the Michael and Michelle Conlon Award which recognizes a senior student - athlete who embodies leadership, loyalty, academic excellence and most importantly shows a willingness and desire to find the time to care for his fellow student athletes. Sitarski served as Babson’s Student Athlete Advisory Committee President from 2020-2022.

Upon graduating in 2022, Sitarski earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration and works as a Financial Analyst at Dassault Systèmes in his time away from coaching.
