BEFORE WHEATON: Attended Berwick Academy... five-sport athlete competing in swimming (four years), football (two years), lacrosse (three years), track (one year) and cross country (one year)... two-year captain of the swim and lacrosse teams... earned seven varsity letters among all of the sports listed... named Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the EIL... earned the lacrosse coaches' award... named MVP of the swim team.
PERSONAL: Son of Kathleen Belavitch and James Horne... his mother Kathleen, was on the swimming team at Boston College ('88)... has two siblings, Alexandra and Katya... chose to attend Wheaton for the swimming program and the coaching staff.
