Buckley returns for her second season as an Assistant Coach with the Lyons.

The former forward enjoyed an outstanding four-year career with Wheaton as one of the best offensive players in program history from 2014-17. Buckley still stands 10th on the Lyons' career scoring list with 64 points and ranks sixth with 29 lifetime goals. The New Hampshire native was excellent in the classroom as well, being named a National Field Hockey Coaches Association National Academic Award winner on multiple occasions in addition to earning New England Women's & Men's Athletic Conference Academic All-Conference honors. The former Co-Captain finished her tenure at Wheaton with 68 career games played and was a starter in her final three campaigns for the Lyons.

Following her success as a player for Wheaton, the 2018 graduate has been coaching field hockey for the past four years. Buckley served as the Fairfield Ludlowe High School Junior Varsity's Head Coach in 2019, before moving on to coach the Field Hockey Club of Connecticut during the following winter/spring months. Buckley moved closer to home and settled in as an Assistant Coach for the Portsmouth Abbey School field hockey squad in Rhode Island, helping the Ravens to back-to-back appearances in the Eastern Independent League post-season tournament during her time at Portsmouth Abbey. In addition to her coaching duties at Wheaton, Buckley also serves as a Coach for the New England Stars Field Hockey Club.
