Brie Cook enters her second season with the Wheaton Field Hockey staff as an Assistant Coach.

Cook was previously at Division II American International College, where she was an Assistant Coach for two seasons. She helped the Yellowjackets post a 10-8 mark for the 2019 season, while playing in an extremely formidable Northeast-10 Conference that featured four nationally-ranked squads. As part of the AIC coaching staff, she helped guide the Yellowjackets to one of the most successful offensive showings in school history. The team registered the fifth-highest goal and point total in school annals, while the squad's goalkeeper turned in the third-lowest goals against mark in program history. Cook helped coach four players, who gained post-season honors from the NE-10, including a pair of All-Conference honorees and two Yellowjackets named to the All-Rookie Team.

The Massachusetts native was a four-year letterwinner at Merrimack College from 2012-2015 and appeared in 44 games over her four-year career, including 21 as a senior. In addition, Cook earned the team’s Most Improved Award and helped the Warriors reach the 2015 NCAA Division II National Championship Game.

Cook’s coaching experience includes three seasons at the NIKE Field Hockey Summer Camp, where she coached youth players from 2014-2016, and a year with SeaCoast United Field Hockey as an assistant coach from 2015-2016.

Cook graduated from Merrimack in 2016 with a Bachelor's degree in Human Development.
