Biography
2016-17 [SOPHOMORE] - Competed in the U.S. Synchronized Swimming Collegiate Championships in the duet finals with a final score of 70.5333 for 10th place, the the solo finals with a final score of 76.2000 for fifth place and the team finals routine with a final score of 72.1667 for 10th place... earned 2017 U.S. Synchronized Swimming Academic All-America honors... went on to compete at the U.S. Synchronized Swimming National Championships.
2015-16 [FIRST-YEAR] - Placed seventh in the duo free routine final with a final score of 71.2333 at the U.S. Collegiate National Championships and helped guide the team to a sixth place finish overall in the nation... Mackin also received a score of 72.800 at the East Zone Regional Championships, earning the win for the Lyons after finishing nearly nine points ahead of her closest competitor.
BEFORE WHEATON: Attended Perrysburg High School... competed in synchronized swimming... was a two-year captain... claimed USA Synchro Swimmer of the Month honor senior year.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Tom and Allison Mackin... has one sibling Peter... majoring in Psychology... chose Wheaton for the synchronized swimming program.
