Wheaton College encourages prospective student-athletes to visit campus and take part of admission programs, through official and unofficial visits.
- An "official" visit is when Wheaton College finances in whole or part of the visit after extending an invitation. A prospective student-athlete is allowed only ONE official visit per institution that cannot exceed 48 hours or be before January 1 of the junior year in high school. Official visits are by initiation of the head coach.
- An "unofficial" visit is when the prospective student-athlete visits the institution at their own expense. There is not a limitation on the number of unofficial visits a prospective student-athlete can make and it can occur prior to January of their junior year in high school
