THE RUNDOWN:  

• Springfield College left Nordin Field this afternoon with a 4-1 win over the Wheaton College field hockey team. 
• Karin Dion scored to put the Lyons on the board first, early in the first quarter, thanks to a give-and-go play with Ellie Williams up the middle. 
• It didn't take long for Springfield to put up the equalizer, as Taylor Conley scored her first of four goals on the day with an unassisted goal on the right side of the circle. 
• Conley struck for two more goals in the first period, just in the right place at the right time, twice dumping in the ball off rebounds from the keeper's pads. 
• Taylor Low fed Conley for the Pride's final goal of the day in the 52nd minute, sealing the 4-1 win for the visitors. 
• Morgan Karnes gave a 20-save performance between the pipes for the Lyons, while Elizabeth Morehouse picked up one save in her win.
