THE RUNDOWN:  

• The Wheaton College field hockey team fell 10-2 at Springfield College Saturday afternoon in a New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) contest. 
• The Lyons got one goal in each half starting with a goal from Hannah Arkin who scored in the 30th minute. 
• Trailing 5-1, Michelle Connolly netted Wheaton's second goal of the game with an assist from Liz Helmreich in the 49th minute. 
• Greta Reilly and Morgan Karnes split time in goal with Reilly being credited with the loss. The pair ended the contest with 12 combined saves.
